Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable air which gives no feeling of cold air to be blown out of an indoor unit in heating operation, and to shorten a time before the air is blown out.SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises an outdoor unit 10 and an indoor unit 30. An indoor heat exchanger 32 in the indoor unit 30 consists of indoor heat exchangers 32A, 32B, and 32C, and while a ventilation passage 36a corresponds to the indoor heat exchanger 32A, a ventilation passage 36b corresponds to the indoor heat exchangers 32B, 32C. An air blocking device 41 is arranged in the ventilation passage 36a, and a solenoid 41 is arranged for the indoor heat exchanger 32A. When it is concerned that air giving feeling of cold air would be blown out in heating operation, control is so performed that the solenoid valve 41 is closed to stop a refrigerant from flowing in the indoor heat exchanger 32A and an air blocking device 39 is switched from a non-air-blocking state to an air blocking state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
