Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of performing high efficiency operation regardless of the magnitude of a required load in the air conditioner in which compressors having different capacities are connected in parallel.SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: a discharge pipe branch part having first, second, and third compressors to branch a discharge pipe of the first compressor; a first branch pipe for connecting the discharge pipe branch part and a suction part of the second compressor; a second branch pipe for connecting the discharge branch pipe and a suction part of the third compressor through an on-off valve; a suction pipe branch part for branching a suction pipe from an accumulator; a third branch pipe for connecting the suction pipe branch part and a suction part of the first compressor; and a fourth branch pipe for connecting the suction branch part and the suction part of the third compressor through an on-off valve, and the second compressor, the discharge pipe and a discharge pipe of the third compressor are merged together.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
