To provide an air conditioning system of a marine vessel using cold heat of LNG in which each of changes of supply and demand of cold heat is not affected by the other in the systems of the flowing rate of the LNG and the quantity of needed cold heat of the air conditioning system decided by a navigation area where fuel regulation by the load of the main engine of the marine vessel or an exhausted gas component is applied, which are the systems optionally changing without relating to each other.
The total cold heat of the LNG can be recovered by preventing the solidification of fluid by using a heat conducting pipe having a structure and a material whose surface temperature are not lower than the solidification points of refrigerant and brine in the heat exchanger 12 of the LNG. The recovered cold heat is effectively utilized by using the low temperature recovered cold heat for overcooling the refrigerant liquid after once condensed by seawater in the case the recovered cold heat quantity runs short for condensing the refrigerant. When the LNG cold heat exceeds the needed cold heat of the air conditioning system, the surplus is recovered and cold stored by brine, and is used as a cold heat source when the LNG is not obtained.
