The air curtain device 100 is provided with a blow-out means 110 for forming an air curtain only in an approximately lower half of the entrance 240 by blowing out blocking air toward the direction across the opening from a portion in the vicinity of an opening end 241 of the entrance 240 opened on a wall 210 partitioning two spaces 220, 230 of which temperatures may vary with each other. The blow-out means 110 comprises a vertical type air blowing device which has a case body 111 extended in the approximately height direction and is constituted to blow out air from a blow-out port 112 provided on the peripheral face of the case body 111 along the height direction.
