Abstract:

To provide an apparatus for efficiently washing/drying a high performance air filter for air conditioning constituted of glass fibers by using washing by washing water together with washing/drying by supercritical or subcritical fluid or the like.

The air filter washing and drying apparatus comprises: a washing tub 21 for performing the washing and drying of the air filter at the same place; a washing solvent supplier for supplying a solvent for washing to the washing tub 21; a washing solvent discharge apparatus for discharging the solvent for washing from the washing tub 21; a drying solvent supplier for supplying a solvent for drying to the washing tub 21; and a drying solvent discharge apparatus for discharging the solvent for drying from the washing tub 21. Pure water or water to which an additive is added is utilized as the solvent for washing and supercritical or subcritical carbon dioxide is used as the solvent for drying.
