PURPOSE: To effectively and efficiently execute an air flow heat treatment of powder and granular raw materials by superheated steam, etc., via heat transfer fins disposed on the outer periphery of a heating pipe.
CONSTITUTION: This air flow heat treating device 50 has the inner heating pipe 30 and an outer jacket 40 which encloses the outer periphery of the heating pipe and is disposed to maintain space between the outer periphery and the inner periphery of the heating pipe. The device is constituted to heat-treat the powder and granular raw materials by indirectly passing a heating medium between the jacket and the heating pipe, passing the pressurized heating fluid in the heating pipe and transferring the powder and granular raw materials together with the pressurized heating fluid into the heating pipe.
