Title:
AIR FLOW RATE MEASURING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3828794
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air flow rate measuring device with improved measuring accuracy by reducing influence of deposits to a heating resistor or the like caused during engine stoppage.
SOLUTION: An air flow rate sucked into an internal combustion engine is detected by using the heating resistor 1. A power source control circuit 4 maintains a temperature of the heating resistor 1 at a temperature the same as that during driving of the internal combustion engine or more until temperatures of the internal combustion engine and devices attached to its intake system become a generating temperature of volatile gas such as oil vapor or less after stopping the internal combustion engine. The power source control circuit 4 detects an air temperature by a temperature sensitive resistor 2 detecting a temperature of air sucked in the internal combustion engine, and it maintains the temperature of the heating resistor at the temperature the same as that during driving of the internal combustion engine on the basis of the air temperature even after stopping the internal combustion engine.
