Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve air-fuel ratio control precision during a time starting from the starting of an engine to the start of feedback control of an air-fuel ratio.
CONSTITUTION: When an oxygen sensor 9 is activated after the starting of an engine 1, feedback control of an air-fuel ratio by using an oxygen sensor 9 and an air-fuel ratio learning correction value L#AST is learnt by a water temperature Tw and a lapse time TMAST after starting, which serve as a parameter. Meanwhile, during a time starting from the starting of the engine 1 to the start of feedback control of an air-fuel ratio, a water temperature Tw and an air-fuel ratio learning correction value LαAST after a starting corresponding to a lapse time TMAST after a starting are estimated based on a learning result of an air-fuel ratio learning correction value LAST.
