PURPOSE: To produce a woven fabric having high a warp density and high quality by integrally forming an expander element to the inlet of a spreader table which freely supports a temple and has an extension directed toward a warp passage and feeding a woven fabric to the temple in the state of the extension.

CONSTITUTION: The spreader table 7 which freely rotatably supports the temple 14 of a needle cylinder type, encloses the temple like a tray and has the projection 8 facing the center of the warp passage 2 within a front part fiber transition range and having an upper surface forming a contact surface extension part is disposed at the air jet weaving loom. The expander element which is like a rod and has a groove-like guide element consisting of a guide rib and a guide groove on its upper surface side is integrally formed in the inlet of the spreader table 7, i.e., in a range of the fiber transition edge and is guided to the needle cylinder type temple 14 in the state of applying an extension effect to the edges of the woven fabric.
