PURPOSE: To enable economical driving of a door with a small and simple device by jetting pressurized gas on the floor and floating a door for moving it in a horizontal direction.
CONSTITUTION: A door 1 which do not need to be put on a rail is made of a material having radiation shielding function. At the lower part of the door 1, a gas jet device 2 capable of jetting pressurized gas to the floor is fixed. This device 2 contains a diaphragm inside of a disk opened downward and this disk is fixed on the door 1. By supplying compressed air from a pressurized gas supplying device into the diaphragm, this diaphragm is swelled. Thus, the air forming a pressure zone leaks in the atmosphere to form a thin air film between the diaphragm and the floor and so the door 1 is lifted completely apart from the floor being without any friction. This door is moved horizontally by a combination of rack and pinion driven by a manual operation or an electric motor.
