Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drive a pair of holding rods to be open and closed just by an air pressure without using an energizing means such as a spring.
SOLUTION: Inside a cylinder 1 in which a pair of the holding rods 4 and 5 are pivoted to a tip, a cylindrical plunger 2 pressing the holding rods 4 and 5 in a closing direction and a core plunger 3 pressing them in an opening direction are slidably provided. Then, a first air chamber A is formed between the cylindrical plunger 2 and the cylinder 1 and a second air chamber B is formed between the rear part of the cylindrical plunger 2 and the core plunger 3. Further, the diameter of the front half part of the core plunger 3 is reduced, a third air chamber C is formed around it and the cylindrical plunger 2 is provided with a ventilation path 2d so as to communicate the third air chamber C with the first air chamber A.
