To provide an air purifier which has a virus removing capability to inactivate and kill viruses by an immune antibody response and maintains an effect to inactivate a virus of a different type from the virus to which an antibody responds.
A bio-filter 3 is disposed on the downstream side of a pre-filter 2, and an ionization part 4 and an electrostatic filter 5 are disposed on the downstream side of the bio-filter 3. First and second optical semiconductor catalytic filters 6, 7 and ultraviolet lamps 8, 9 for emitting ultraviolet rays to the filters 6, 7 are placed on the downstream side of the electrostatic filter 5. Then, air sucked from the inside of a room through the pre-filter 1 is blown into the room by a fan 10 after passing through the bio-filter 3, the ionization part 4, the electrostatic filter 5, and the filters 6, 7.
