Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a good-looking air purifier which can be fitted to an existing facility, by providing a unit consisting of a sucking means to suck air around a game machine from an air inlet and a purifying means to purify air sucked, on the frieze board of the unit.
SOLUTION: An air purifier is constructed as a unit by unifying a sucking means 21 which sucks air around a game machine 10 from an air inlet 20 and a purifying means 22 which purifies sucked air, and is equipped with a frieze board 12. A dust collecting filter 26 which collects relatively large dust is mounted to the case side of the air inlet 20 in a removable manner, and a hood 27 which is open in the underside as if to cover the air inlet 20 is attached to the front 23a of the frieze board 12. The sucking means 21 is made up of a cross-flow fan which is driven by a motor, and forms a stream of air from the air inlet 20 to an air outlet 25. The purifying means 22 uses an electrostatic filter charging system.
