Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the air quantity adjusting structure of an air outlet for air conditioning which is simple in its structure and readily assembled in a working site.
CONSTITUTION: Through holes 9, 10 and 10 for fixing a damper 3 to a branch pipe 1 connected to a duct main body are provided. An opening and closing plate 5 is supported through a support shaft 6 in the support cylinder 4 of a short cylinder. Hexagon holes 7 are opened on the support shaft 6 and tapped holes 8 and 8 are provided in parallel at both sides of the hexagon holes 7 of the support cylinder 4 so that the damper 3 is inserted into the pipe 1. The through holes 9, 10 and 10 communicate with the hexagon holes 7 and the tapped holes 8 and 8. The damper 3 is threadedly engaged with the pipe 1 through a support disk 15 provided with a through hole 17 and machine screw holes 19 and 19 which communicate with the through holes 9, 10 and 10 and tapped holes 20 and 20 and a washer 11 so that the damper 3 is formed integrally with the pipe 1. Then, an operating shaft 14 is inserted into the through hole 17 so that the end of the shaft 14 is fitted into the through hole 7, and the support hole 22 of an adjusting disk 16 having a slot 25 is fitted to the large diameter part of the shaft 14. The disk 16 is rotated so that the quantity of air from the damper 3 is adjusted, A thumbscrew 26 is inserted into the slot 25 and threadedly engaged with the tapped hole 20 of the suport disk 15 and fixed thereto.
