Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in the alcohol concentration estimation in the alcohol solution, a method such as a boiling-point temperature estimation method, a vibration-type density measuring method or an alcohol hydrometer method has been applied, and nevertheless, such a technique has been focused on collecting a fixed amount of the alcohol solution at the evaluation time and performing the concentration measurement by an estimation device, and therefore, it has been not possible to perform a continuous estimation in the manufacturing plant of an alcohol beverage, and for this reason, a method is provided herein, which makes it possible to continuously measure an absorption characteristic change intrinsic to the alcohol beverage in 1.7 μm wavelength band.SOLUTION: An alcohol concentration measuring device is configured to display a calculation result by converting (calculating) alcohol concentration from electric signals outputted from a PD (photo diode ) 2 and includes: a semiconductor laser operating in 1.7 μm band usable for a long period of time (long-life), or a SLD (super luminescent diode) 1; and the PD (photo diode) 2 for receiving light from the same light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
