In the allergen-inactivating fiber product which carries an inorganic allergen-inactivating agent, the inorganic allergen-inactivating agent is a composite metal oxide, also a solid solution and further the composite metal oxide represented by formula (ZnO)_1-x(Al₂O₃)_x (where x satisfies 0.005≤x<0.2). The method for producing the allergen-inactivating fiber product is also disclosed.
