Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a pharmaceutical composition containing a carrier, a protein, a peptide, an absorption promoter and α-aminoboronic acid derivative, capable of remarkably preventing hydrolysis of peptide and protein in small amounts and useful for stabilizing and improving delivery by their dermal administration forms. CONSTITUTION: This peptide pharmaceutical composition substantially contains a pharmaceutically proper carrier, a protein or a peptide, an absorption promoter and α-aminoboronic, acid derivative of the formula (HW is a mineral acid, sulfonic acid, an alkanoic acid, etc.; Y is carbon, etc.; R is an alkyl, etc.). The protein or peptide is a peptide capable of especially receiving hydrolysis due to protease (especially aminopeptidase), preferably leucine enkephalin and the protein or peptide is administered in the presence of a compound of the formula.
