To provide an alternative emulsified fuel for the cost reduction at the field site by using a bunker fuel oil C and carbide as main raw materials and mixing water therewith.
An alternative emulsified fuel is prepared by mixing 70-80 wt.% of a bunker fuel oil C and 20-30 wt.% of an aqueous carbide solution, followed by subjecting the resulting mixture to heating and agitating, irradiating thereto a 20 KHz-1 MHz supersonic wave for 20-30 minutes for inducing ionic bondings in the mixture, and subjecting the mixture to the high speed revolution in an emulsifying machine, to prevent the oil/water separation thereof from occurring, wherein 0.5-2 pts.wt. of a calcium chloride is used as an emulsifier relative to 100 pts.wt. of the mixture of the bunker fuel oil C and an aqueous carbide solution, the aqueous carbide solution is prepared by dissolving 0.1-1% of a carbide in water. The alternative emulsified fuel can be supplied inexpensively for air heating in winter for horticulture or flowery plants, drying agricultural and fishery products, or for industrial use.
