Abstract:
To provide an alternator for a vehicle and a drive transmission system therefor, capable of downsizing the body of the alternator for a vehicle, by rotating a rotor at a high speed.
This alternator for a vehicle, including a rotor 1 wound with a field winding 6 inward in the diametrical direction of a pair of claw-shaped magnetic poles 5A, 5B disposed so as to face each other and a stator 2 wound with a stator winding 15 on a stator core 14, is provided with a drive transmission shaft 19 increasing a rotational speed and transmitting it to a rotating shaft 3.
