This lead wire 2 routing method includes the previous processing of the lead wire 2 into a bending shape near a routing completion condition as the prescribed shape, the preparation of a component integrated-formed in a sleeve 3, and the engagement of a sealing part 3a of a sleeve 3 with fitting parts 7a, 8a of a yoke 7 and an end frame 8. In the routing process of the starter motor 1, the connection of the lead wire 2 does not require the lead wire 2 bent by manual work as seen in conventional cases. It is possible to improve the routing workability, while maintaining high waterproofness by eliminating the deformation of the sealing part 3a.
