Abstract:

To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a battery case, which has sufficient strength and superior creep characteristics, drawing and ironing workability and laser weldability, can inhibit the thickness of the case from increasing during charging and discharging cycles and can be suitably used for a rectangular case of a lithium-ion battery.

This aluminum alloy sheet comprises 0.2 to 0.8% Mg, 0.4 to 1.5% Cu, 0.6 to 2.0% Fe, Si as impurities controlled to 0.3% or less, and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities.
