Abstract:

To provide an aluminum foil material for aluminum etching foil, in which through pits are formed by DC electrolytic etching and etching pits penetrate in the thickness direction of the foil material and which is 30 to 70 m thick and has improved capacitance and practically satisfactory bending strength.

In this aluminum foil material, the proportion of crystal grains penetrating in the thickness direction of the foil material is 80%, when observed in a cross section perpendicular to the rolling direction of the foil material. Further, the occupancy of cube orientation having 15 deviation from the ideal cube orientation is 40%.
