Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve a catalyst contg. a transition metal compd. and an aluminumoxy compd. as the auxiliary catalyst to thereby obtain a catalyst which has a high catalytic activity and enables the production of a high- molecular, highly stereoregular polyolefin.
CONSTITUTION: An aluminumoxy compd. has a structure represented by the formula wherein R is a 1-12C hydrocarbon group, a 1-12C oxygen-contg. hydrocarbon group, halogen, or -X1R1 (X1 is an element of the group 15 or 16; and R1 is an electron-attracting group or a group contg. an electron-attracting group bonded to X1) provided that when two or more R's are present, each R may be the same as or different from other R's and that at least 10% of R's are -X1R1's; and n, the degree of polymn., is an integer of 1 or higher.
