Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating amine-containing wastewater, which produces treated water containing less amount of residue amine, requiring no heat source to heat condensed water that is produced during a treatment process of amine-containing wastewater by an evaporative concentration method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of treating amine-containing wastewater, the method comprising: an evaporation concentration step of evaporating and concentrating amine-containing wastewater by an evaporation concentrator 12; a condensation step by a condenser 16 of condensing the steam generated during the evaporation concentration step; and an amine decomposition step of adding an oxidizing agent to the condensed water which is obtained during the condensation step and of decomposing amines contained in the condensed water by irradiating the condensed water with ultraviolet rays by an amine decomposition apparatus 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
