Abstract:
PURPOSE:To minimize the useless actions by excluding a state unsuitable to continuation of analysis of sentence structure, if detected, out of back tracking objects. CONSTITUTION:The input word strings to be analyzed are stored to an input buffer means 4, and the state of analysis is held by a state holding stack means 2. A control means 1 controls the means 4, the means 2 and a decision push- down automatic means 3 according to the type of the sentence structure rule within the means 3. The means 3 adds the type for control of analysis of sentence structure to the sentence structure rule and selects and executes the sentence structure analysis rule having type in accordance with the input word retrieved by the means 4, the top element within the means 2 and the own internal state.
