Title:
ANGLE CONTROLLER FOR VEHICULAR MIRROR PROVIDED WITH CANCELING MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3884603
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angle controller for a vehicular mirror provided with a canceling mechanism capable of canceling control of a mirror angle interlocked with an outer signal without installing additional switches.
SOLUTION: When a shift lever of a vehicle is put into reverse gear and a reverse signal (the outer signal) is provided, a motor M3 for vertical motion of a left side mirror 3 is tilted downward for automatically adjusting it so that a rear wheel part vicinity comes into view of the left side mirror 3. When one of a switch 8 for vertical tilting or a switch 7 for horizontal tilting is operated during or after this tilting, a cancel signal is outputted for operating the mirror angle so that it returns to its original angle (normal position). Even if the reverse signal is provided hereafter, a tilting operation interlocked with this is not performed. In other words, the interlocked operation can be cancelled. After the next operation, when the switch 8 for vertical tilting or the switch 7 for horizontal tilting is operated during inputting of the reverse signal, the interlocked operation is reset.
