Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sure angle data by generating a more detailed control command to secure the responding characteristics of the whole antenna system at the time of driving an antenna to a desired angle.
SOLUTION: Encoders provided at each driving shaft of the antenna 1 store the angle data of the antenna synchronizing with a clock supplied from outside and convert the data to serial data to send out. Angle data outputted from the encoders 4 and 5 are fetched into an antenna controller through the connected cables 6 and 7. The controller 3 receives a bit serial angle data from the encoders 4 and 5 and converts the data to parallel data suited to internal processing. A speed command for driving the antenna is successively generated from antenna angle data obtained like this and a desired angle to control and monitor the antenna 1.
