To reduce the area size of an antenna module for which a multi-element patch type planar antenna is made into a module together with a distribution circuit, to facilitate high density mounting on equipment, to improve the yield of production, and to easily cope with the diversification of the characteristic specifications of a polarized wave mode or the like and that at low cost.
A multi-element patch type planar antenna part and a distribution circuit part formed of a microstrip line are formed on different substrates separately from each other and the substrate of the antenna part is mounted on the substrate of the distribution circuit part in a laminated state. Thus, the distribution circuit part and the antenna part are gathered and integrated in the form of being isolated by a ground conductor.
