Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit antenna characteristics from changing when covered with a protective cover made of a synthetic resin in an antenna device constituted by a dielectric substrate.SOLUTION: Disclosed is an antenna device which includes: an antenna device body 4 having a dielectric substrate 10, a conductor pattern which is provided on one surface of the dielectric substrate and constitutes a radiating element 12, and a ground conductor plate provided on the side opposite to the radiating element across the dielectric substrate; and a protective cover made of a synthetic resin covering the antenna device body. The dielectric substrate has a frame part 40 which is provided so that the frame part surrounds the conductor pattern constituting the radiating element 12 and that the height from the dielectric substrate becomes higher than that of the conductor pattern, and by this frame part, a space is formed between the protective cover and the conductor pattern.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
