Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device and an imaging method capable of stably obtaining images of all lines even when a light emitting element is caused to perform exposure in a rolling shutter mode to achieve images.SOLUTION: An imaging device includes a light emitting element, a light emitting element driving unit for causing the light emitting element to emit light in a pulsed driving mode, an imaging element for imaging a subject using light emission from the light emitting element, and a timing controller for driving the light emitting element via the light emitting element driving unit and driving the imaging element to control the exposure or reading in the imaging element. The timing controller exposes the imaging element in a rolling shutter mode and causes the light emitting element to emit light in synchronization with each line of the imaging element via the light emitting element driving unit to acquire imaging data for each line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
