To provide a means for preventing an intake, a fish net and the like from being damaged without causing hindrance to navigation of a ship, even if an anchor of the ship, a trawlnet and the like get brought into contact with the intake, due to a catch with those.
Horizontal flow guiding plates 11 and 12 at two stages are installed around the upper section of a main body 2, to which the intake 1 is connected, and the horizontal flow guiding plate 11 at an upper stage is formed in a discoidal shape and the horizontal flow guiding plate 12 at a lower stage is formed in the discoidal shape having an opening section at a center. Preventive rings 13 and 14 having arcuate sectional-shaped external side faces are mounted on the outer peripheral sections of the plates 11 and 12 respectively. The horizontal flow guiding plates 11 and 12 are supported by supporting columns 15 having the arcuate sectional-shaped external side faces.
