Abstract:
Provided is a rustproofed metal member that allows improvement of the performance of a protective coating film formed thinly on a zinc layer having sacrificial anticorrosive effect and thus inhibits appearance from becoming poor due to partial loss of the coating film, allows the sacrificial anticorrosive effect of zinc to be exerted better than ever before, and has excellent antirust performance particularly against red rust.A rustproofed metal member 1 of the present invention has a metal member 2 having a predetermined shape, a zinc composite film 3 formed on a surface of the metal member, and a coating film 4 formed by applying and drying a coating paint on the zinc composite film. The coating paint includes a coating base containing an organic solvent and a resin material 41 dissolved in the organic solvent, and an extender pigment 43 and an antirust pigment 42 dispersed and retained in the coating base. The antirust pigment includes aluminum flakes 40 having been subjected to no leafing process.
