PURPOSE: To readily obtain an anti-sulfated tyrosine antibody for determining sulfated tyrosine in a short time, a method for producing the antibody and a hybridoma capable of producing the anti-sulfated tyrosine monoclonal antibody.
CONSTITUTION: The objective anti-sulfated tyrosine antibody is obtained by binding a carrier protein to sulfated tyrosine as a hapten according to a carboxydiimide method, etc., or immunizing a protein in which the tyrosine in the peptide chain is sulfated as an antigen to a mammal, further additionally immunizing the mammal with the same antigen after 1-8 weeks, subsequently carrying out the final immunization using the sulfated tyrosine, collecting blood serum from the immunized animal after the passage of 1-14 days from the final immunization, adsorbing the resultant blood serum in a column filled with a carrier on which the sulfated tyrosine is immobilized, eluting the adsorbed substance, then passing the eluate through a column filled with a carrier having the immobilized sulfated tyrosine and removing the antibody further binding to the tyrosine. The obtained antibody is capable of specifically binding to the sulfated tyrosine.
