PURPOSE: To obtain a resin composition improved in antibacterial properties, molding appearance, etc., by mixing a styrenic resin with an antibacterial agent, a specified compound or polymer, an antistatic agent, a polyamide elastomer and/or a polyester elastomer.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. styrenic resin (A) with 0.01-30 pts.wt. antibacterial agent (B) prepared by impregnating an organic or inorganic metal compound or a porous structure with a metallic compound or a metal complex salt or by ion-exchanging it with metallic ions and 0.01-30 pts.wt. unsaturated compound or polymer (C) having a molecular weight of 300-10000 and containing 0.01-30 functional groups of at least one kind in the molecule or per mol or 0.01-30 pts.wt. mixture (E) of 10-90wt.% component C with 90-10wt.% antistatic agent (D) or by mixing 100 pts.wt. mixture of 10-99.9wt.% component A with 90-0.1wt.% polyamide elastomer and/or polyester elastomer (F) with 0.01-30 pts.wt. component B and 0.01-30 pts.wt. component E.
