Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a pasty coating material having excellent anticorrosion property and useful for the coating of the surface of a construction cable for a long suspension bridge and a cable-braced bridge.
CONSTITUTION: This pasty coating for the anticorrosive coating of a cable contains (1) zinc having particle diameter of ≤2mm, (2) a drying oil and (3) an extender pigment as essential components. The weight ratios of the components (1) and (2) are ≥0.1 and 0.1-0.5, respectively.
