Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a coating composition which can form a coating film showing suitable steady self-grindability in seawater and a persistent antifouling effect and having excellent antifouling properties for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: This composition comprises a hydrophilic aldehyde condensation resin being an aldehyde/ketone condensation resin or an aldehyde/urea condensation resin and having a weight-average molecular weight of 200-20000 and a hydroxyl value of 20-300 and an antifouling agent.
