Title:
ANTISEISMIC PIPE JOINT FOR JACKING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3907486
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lay a pipe passage having a pipe joint with an antiseismic structure by a jacking method.
SOLUTION: The antiseismic pipe joint is composed so that jacking force upon laying the passage is transmitted between one pipe having a socket 13 in an end part and another pipe having a spigot 14 in an end part to be inserted in an interior of the socket 13 in a separation prevented state. In an outer side of the socket 13, an inclined face 37 is formed on an exterior of the spigot 14, and a tube axial direction jacking force transmitting member 43 is attached to the socket 13. The jacking force transmitting member 43 is composed so that its tip contacts the inclined face 37, and it transmits the jacking force between the spigot 14 and the socket 13 upon laying the passage. When force larger than the jacking force acts between the spigot 14 and the socket 13, the jacking force transmitting member 43 deforms by action of the inclined face corresponding to the force, and it can allow further penetration of the spigot 14 into the socket 13.
