Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biopolymer (DNA) detector which can carry out a total analysis including not reacting samples without requiring a complicate work such as cleaning or the like.
SOLUTION: A complementary strand sample DNA 75 and a noncomplementary strand sample DNA 76 can be separated by fixing a DNA probe 73 to an electrode 71 and impressing a d.c. voltage to between electrodes 71 and 72. Clearer results can be obtained by analyzing from a ratio of an entire reaction system. Moreover, reacting samples and not reacting samples can be measured separately in the same reaction field by using electrophoresis by a gel together.
