To simplify piping between a height adjusting valve and a switching valve.
An apparatus is configured to control inclination of a vehicle body 1 by supplying/discharging air to/from air springs 3a, 3b. Switching valves 10aa to 10ab, 10ba to 10bb are housed not in an electromagnetic valve box 11 housing air supply valves 7aa to 7ab, 7ba to 7bb fitted to one pipe 5a for controlling the supply of air to the air springs 3a, 3b and discharge valves 8aa to 8ab, 8ba to 8bb for controlling the discharge of air from the air springs 3a, 3b, but in equipment box 12 housing height adjustment valves 9a, 9b. The switching valves 10aa to 10ab, 10ba to 10bb are closed during inclination control in order to nullify the effect of the height adjustment valves 9a, 9b which are fitted to another pipe 5b connecting the air springs 3a, 3b and a source pressure reservoir 4 that stores gas supplied to the air springs 3a, 3b and which maintain the height of the air springs 3a, 3b to a neutral height during non-inclination control. A piping path between the height-adjustment valve and the switching valve can be simplified, to eliminate disadvantages in design and maintenance, while making the electromagnetic valve box compact.
