This apparatus for discharging drain of the cylinder dryer is characterized by composing an expansion joint of the apparatus for discharging the drain capable of feeding steam from one side in the interior of the cylinder dryer with a steam blowing device and discharging the drain from the other side of an outer cylinder located on the side of a drain discharging box and an inner cylinder located on the side of the cylinder dryer and mutually sealing the inside of the outer cylinder and the outside of the inner cylinder with an O-ring in the apparatus for discharging the drain of the cylinder dryer used for drying the wet web in the paper machine or paper coating machine.
