To provide an apparatus for discharging residue after thermal decomposition, capable of stably operating for a long time without attaching a highly viscous substance contained in the residue after thermal decomposition to the surface of a spiral wing.
This apparatus 1 for discharging residue after thermal decomposition is coaxially arranged with a rotating shaft 7 of a spiral wing 8 whose cross section has chevron-like shape in a discharge pipe 5. The cross section of a spiral wing 8 is a trapezoid having narrow plane part at the top and having inclined face with angle equivalent to both side and the crossed angle of both inclined faces is preferably 50-80°. The residue after thermal decomposition is pushed by the inclined face in a part bringing into contact with the spiral wing and force moving to inner circumferential direction of the discharge pipe 5 is always applied and the residue after thermal decomposition is continuously discharged for a long time without attaching to the clearance of the spiral wing by forming the cross section of the spiral wing 8 into the chevron-like shape.
