Abstract:
To simply and accurately center a regenerated tire before vulcanization, to prevent it from being defective mounting in a vulcanization machine, and to improve reliability on feeding.
The apparatus consists of a centering means 3 with a pair of horizontal hanging pins 11 for hanging vertically a regenerated tire T by hanging the tire hole Te on and centering it, a tire holding means 4 provided with a pair of pinching tools 19 for pinching the outer peripheral face of the centered regenerated tire T from both sides and a transferring means 5 for centering and positioning the regenerated tire T held by pinching tools 19 between upper and lower vulcanization molds 2U and 2L under horizontal condition.
