PURPOSE: To enable to pneumatically take out a predetermined number of solid articles which are carried in an aligned manner, by disposing an air nozzle having a predetermined width adjacently of an outlet portion of a vibrating bowl.

CONSTITUTION: Solid articles 6 are carried in an aligned manner along a helical passage 2 of a bowl feeder 1. An air nozzle 3 is disposed in face of a trough 7 at the end of the helical passage 2, so that a predetermined number of solid articles are blown off by the air ejected from the nozzle 3 and drop into a chute 8. The above apparatus can be used advantageously, in particualr, for solid articles like dried vegetables and dried shrimps difficult to feed at constat quantity in the conventional apparatus. In the above apparatus, it is enabled to feed a predetermined number of solid articles with ease by changing the width of the nozzle appropriately.
