First and second rotatably mounted rollers that rotate rapidly without interruption are arranged on the downstream of the supplying means to practically increase productivity and to improve the combed sliver, clamping devices for the fiber sliver are provided thereon, wherein the clamping devices are distributed spaced apart on the periphery of at least one of the rollers, and at least one conveyor element is arranged between a sliver forming element and a drawing system.
