Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily and inexpensively fit a tire to a wheel by arranging a plurality of roller members to be abutted on the tire a the front and rear of a lever member capable of effecting the push and pull operation, and by arranging a disk plate member or the like to be abutted on the wheel at the intermediate part of the respective roller members.

CONSTITUTION: When a wheel A is fixed to the head 2 of a stand 1 forming the device body, and a cylindrical shaft 28 is inserted into a retaining block 26 and a sleeve 19, a fitting roller 47, a pressing roller 56, and a retaining roller 57 are mounted on the tire 51 respectively. Then, when a lever 36 is pulled, the fitting roller 47 gripes the beads of the tire 51 to press them exceeding the flange of a wheel rim 52. On the other hand, when the lever 36 is pressed in the reverse direction, the retaining roller 57 retains the tire 51, and the pressing roller 56 presses the rotating surface of the tire 51. As a result, the tire 51 is compressed, and is fitted to the wheel A while reducing the lump part 53 being formed on the bead part.
