Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome such a problem that in a method or an apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional rigid object by photocuring thin layers by irradiating a liquid curable composition with radiation beams and laminating the layers in turn, when the radiation beams are moved in the thin layers, when the moving speed of the beams is reduced, an exposure level is elevated, and a photocuring depth is increased so that the precision of the three- dimensional rigid object to be manufactured is deteriorated.
SOLUTION: By making the radiation beams pulse type beams and controlling the pulse interval and pulse width of the radiation beams in accordance with the scanning speed of the radiation beams on the surface of the liquid curable composition, the exposure level of the radiation beams is made constant irrespective of the change of the moving speed of the radiation beams.
