Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize the calorific value of product gas having calorific value controlled with a plate-fin panel heat-exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: A plate-fin panel heat-exchanger 6 is placed at the latter stage of an LNG evaporator 1, an injection tube group 16 for LNG introduction is inserted into the heat-exchanger 6 and the center tube 16a is positioned at a high level relative to the side tubes 16b. The ejection rate of LPG is controlled to be smaller at the center part relative to both sides taking advantage of the head difference and the calorific value is stabilized by preventing the generation of residual mist especially under high-load operation.
