Title:
APPARATUS FOR MEASURING ICE PACKING RATIO
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3932078
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously detect a conveying ice packing ratio in a conveying passage of an ice water slurry by providing a flow rate regulating measuring unit, a heater for heating an ice water slurry, and a thermometer for measuring a surface temperature of the heater from an upstream side to a downstream side.
SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring an ice packing ratio is provided downstream of an ice packing ratio regulator 50A provided at a front stage at an ice water slurry conveying channel 10 to a cooling load 51A. The apparatus comprises an ice flow rate regulating measuring unit 11, a heater 15, a heater surface thermometer 12 and an arithmetic unit 16 of a conveyance calculating controller separately provided and sequentially provided from an upstream side to a down stream. The unit 11 is usable at a channel having a diameter of several mm to 2.4 m, and can measure from zero in proportion to a flow rate. The heater 15 has a heating surface 13 of a cartridge heater dipped in flowing ice water flurry 10a to heat slurry, and a voltage control slide rheostat 14 for suitably controlling a heating amount from an exterior.
