PURPOSE: To enable the high-speed angular orientation of disk-shaped objects to determine the angular positions of the disk-shaped objects by using a non- mechanical inspection means.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic supply means 14 supplies the disk-shaped object 16 to one of many disk receiving turntables 20, 22, 24 and 26 arranged on the upper turntable 12 by a disk holding means 14. The disk holding means transfers the disk-shaped object to the lower turntable 48 from the upper turntable upon arrival of the disk-shaped object at the predetermined angle position when an inspection and controller 28 disposed adjacently to the upper turntable inspects the disk-shaped object and determines the angular position. The predetermined angle position is maintained by rotation of the disk receiving turntables 40, 42, 44 and 46 of the lower turntable. The disk-shaped object is ejected by an ejection means 30 in an ejection position.
