To provide an apparatus for detecting puncture in a bladder for tire vulcanization, wherein the occurrence of the puncture is surely detected, the stable detection result is obtained and detection accuracy is enhanced and to provide a method for detecting the puncture in the bladder for tire vulcanization using the apparatus for detecting the puncture.
The apparatus for detecting puncture in the bladder for tire vulcanization includes a sensor and a sensor box which are arranged so that a sensor detection surface may turn downward, and an introductory tube which connects between the sensor box and a steam channel of a heating and pressurizing medium provided on a tire vulcanizing apparatus. The introductory tube has length of 150 to 210 mm and is arranged at a distance of 50 to 80 mm distance from the sensor detection surface so that one end thereof is opposite to the sensor detection surface, and a filter is provided at an opening of an introductory tube end part opposite to the sensor detection surface. The method for detecting the puncture in the bladder for tire vulcanization, in which leakage of steam is monitored in an inflation steam process and a press opening process, is also provided.
